My passion for editing began as a CNN intern back in 1991.  I discovered the edit bays on the first day and my jaw dropped.  The work made perfect sense in an instant.  Far more efficient than wiring 2 VCR’s together like we did in college!  That was the moment I knew editing was my future.  The newsroom eventually gave way to scripted tv series and features, increasing my creative potential and enthusiasm for the craft.

I am the editor of several independent features and shorts (Airplane Mode, Without Ward, Mad World) with genres ranging from comedy, to drama, to action, to horror.

I've concurrently built a solid career as an assistant editor, working in some of the top cutting rooms in the industry.  It's been a great benefit to learn from (and often asked to edit for) directors like Paul Feig (Bridesmaids,) Nick Stoller (Get Him To The Greek,) John Hamburg (I Love You, Man) and Guy Ritchie (RocknRolla.)

These experiences have all helped create a formidable film editor. I know how to handle both the complexities of the cut and the responsibilities of the cutting room itself.  The early years in news conditioned me to respect schedules and deadlines.  On top of it all, I believe the greatest key to my success is perhaps also the simplest... Always be friendly to others and show outward appreciation for their help and hard work.  That team spirit, combined with experience and talent, has proven to be powerful in helping filmmakers achieve their editorial vision.
